Santa Pictures

Here are some pictures of Christmas morning. Tucker could not stop pointing to the stuffed elephant. The bottom right picture is him riding his Lighting McQueen car which he calls "speed". His face looks funny because he is staying "boodem boodem." (Tucker 20 months)

Christmas with Grammie and Papa

What a special time we had at Grammie and Papa's house! We ate delicious food and opened more and more presents! A few things Tucker got......his first sock monkey, some new movies, and two pillow pets (he has been asking for these for the last 3 months!) His favorite is this cute turtle that illuminates stars all over his bedroom. Thanks Grammie and Papa for such a memorable time! We love you! (Tucker 20 months)

Christmas Eve

We had so much fun spending Christmas Eve with Wendy, Kevin, JoLee, and Will. What a sweet family! JoLee and Will are so good with Tucker and he loves their company. Wendy, JoLee, Will, and I had a blast playing games while Tucker napped. Tucker got his first tricycle from Grandaddy and Nana. I hope it warms up a little so he can actually learn to ride it. Tucker also got his first gun (play). Before he received the gun, he went around the house with a ride on horse and said "pow pow" to the deer heads and ducks on the wall. How does he know this? Well, he watches Duck Commanders wtih his daddy! (Tucker 20 months)

Christmas Cookies

Our second year of making Christmas cookies at Jenny's house. Emmajean, Emma Caitlin, John William, and Tucker enjoyed the fun! I think Tucker enjoyed eating the cookies a little more than making them! (Tucker 20 months, Emmajean 2 years)

Christmas in Prattville

Here are some pictures of our Christmas in Prattville with my mother's side of the family. (Tucker 20 months)

Halloween 2010

We had a good time last Saturday night dressing up and trick or treating. Above are pictures of Tucker and Brett starting to carve their pumpkin (which we forgot to take a picture of when we finished). Look at Tucker and Brett's side smile. They look just alike to me! Luke and Tucker met in the driveway and said hello. We walked around with Marshall, Dax, and Kepler. Aunt Wendy trick or treated with us and Kevin came down to hang out and watch the game (well, sort of, the kids were wild and wrestling in front of the TV!) They had a lot of fun together and we ate lots of good food later when we got back to the house. We had SO MANY trick or treaters. We actually ran out of candy and had to turn the light off and shut the door.

Hiding is My Favorite Game!

Tucker loves to run and hide. He has a couple of favorite places - in the sunroombehind the end table, in the dinning room behind chairs, and in the living room behind the recliner. I find him in these places doing or having something he shouldn't. Here is him using the phone and running. (Tucker 18 months)

What a Hunter!

I went shopping with Wendy Tuesday night and Brett and Tucker had the night to themselves. They ate at Hickory Chip Restaurant where deer were mounted on the walls. Tucker kept talking about deer the whole dinner. When they got home, Brett pulled the one that he shot in South Carolina out of the freezer and put it into Tuck's gator. Tucker loved driving it around. Brett said he was a natural and was definately going to be a professional hunter. We are working towards a lifetime hunting and fishing liscense soon! JAM Paint Day

JAM (Jesus And Me) is our children's program at church. Today we had a paint day so that we would have some canvases to put on the walls of our new building (how exciting!) I caught myself trying to make Tucker's painting perfect, not like an 18 month old's painting. What, I wanted it to look good?! His handprint looked like a bear paw becuase he didnt spread out his little fingers. I forgot to take a photo of the painting that will go on the wall, but I included the replica that they painted on cardboard to take home (which I will cherish!). I have it hanging on my kitchen window! This one he truely did mostly on his own. The painting is a handprint that is a tree.
A bible story was read and the children gathered around. I was so proud that Tucker actually decided to step away from me for a couple of minutes to be a part of the group. All of a sudden I see a smile on his face and he has found his crazy yellow car that he carries around. Apparently, he had dropped it earlier that morning and he discovered it during storytime. He broke it out and others started wanting to play with him.

After the painting, they got to decorate their cupcake. Forget decorating, Tucker wanted to just begin eating! The little girl in the picture holding Tucker is Hallie. She is a sweet, precious girl that is in my class this year. She was a big help to help entertain and watch Tucker while I cleaned up. You can see in the picture how happy he is with her.

Check out the picture of Haley's husband, Kevin, holding Tucker. Tucker didn't like it very much. Haley, you did a really good job getting everything together.!It was such a great idea and was very well organized.

Boo At The Zoo

Our friends Kellyn, Travis, and Truman meet us at Boo At The Zoo Friday night. We enjoyed the outing and the boys loved trick-or-treating! The carousel was a big hit as well. Tucker was an elephant, of course, because of his love for elephants. Truman was a cute little bat. (Tucker 18 m. and Truman 2 1/2 years)

COWS!

Tucker loves the cows in the pasture behind our house. He shouts “Cow, Cow, Cow” repeatedly. He loves to feel their wet noses and touch their weird tongues (which I’m not too crazy about, but HE IS A BOY :) Here are a few pictures of him outside checking out the cows and one of him playing peekaboo behind a tree. First Haircut

Okay, I know Tucker doesn't have much hair in the front but the back was out of control! He was trying to grow a little rat tail in the back. The back of his hair would get really frizzy after rolling around in the bed or on the floor. If he was outside it would curl up. Krissy gave him a sweet little hair cut. She mainly found the random long baby hairs and cut them. My baby is growing up! (Tucker 16 months)

Bye Bye NayNay!

We took Tucker's pacifier (NayNay) away this past weekend. He has done really well without it! I had imagined it to be much worse! Here is a picture of him with it last month. He was hanging out at the beach, alseep on his Grammie. He is so sweet. (Tucker pictured at 15 months, pacifier taken away at 16 months)

Tucker says Roll Tide!

Brett, Tucker, and I went to the local Alabama pep rally. Brett had Tucker practice his "Roll Tide!" Tucker loved Big Al from a distance. He would just wave and wave and say "hey." However, it was a different story when he was right next to Big Al. He never cried but he would turn and hide his face. One time Big Al's ear brushed against his face and I thought Tucker was going to loose it. We had a great time. Doesn't Tucker look just like his daddy?

We went to Jackson Tennessee last weekend to visit my friend Kristen and her family. We enjoyed visiting her and her family. She has three precious children. I caught a glismpe of my future (what it would be like with more than one child!) Kristen is an amazing photographer and most importantly an amazing friend and mother. Although she is 41/2 hours away, I will definatley be using her in the future for more photos. Her website is www.kristenreedphotography.com

The Zoo

My friend and I took our boys to the zoo last week. Wow, it was really hot as you can see by the way I look in the first picture! They enjoyed the ducks, birds, and monkeys. Look at Tucker with the huge bird behind him. He doesn't even know it is behind him because he is busy checking out Spencer's car.
